Image of Penn's Expert Apple Parer

"The Expert"

Penn Hardware Company of Reading Pennsylvania made pares very similar to the Reading 74, 75, and 78. This parer is marked "The Expert" PENN H. CO. This parer is also embossed with an emblem that appears to be a Fleur-de-lis or iris flower. This emblem was used by the kings of France.
